Mosaic Mentoring of North Alabama

Hi All!

Thank you so much for registering for Wet Dog #19! We can't wait to see you all next Saturday, June 15th at Point Mallard Park!  We wanted to go ahead and give you a little information about packet pick up.

Packet pick up will start on Thursday, June 13 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at our office in Decatur.  The address is 115 1st Avenue, NE, Decatur, AL 35601. We are located inside the white United Way Building next door to the Cross Eyed Owl Microbrewery.  We will also have packet pick up on Friday, June 14th, at the same address and the same time. Remember, we are in the Central Time Zone.   The office number is 256-353-0157 if you have any issues finding us!  While you are in historic downtown Decatur, we highly recommend that you visit the above mentioned brewery, The Brick Deli, which is across the road or any of the amazing restaurants that Decatur has to offer! We are working on getting you some discounts to our local faves that we will hand out at packet pick up!  

If you cannot make it on Thursday or Friday evening, we will also have packet pick up under the pavillion at Point Mallard beginning at 6:00 Saturday morning. This is also where you will get your body marked and pick up your timing chip. All packets must be picked up, your timing chip picked up and your body marked by no later than 6:40 a.m.  Participants are expected on the beach area of Point Mallard absolutely no later than 6:50 a.m.  All practicing participants must be completely out of the water by no later than 6:45. 

We will have water and Gatorade at the finish line and awards and refreshments (provided by Alabama Bliss Bistro) at the pavillion. We invite you all to stay and enjoy these events. There will also be a Kona Shaved Ice truck there if your fans want to particpate by buying a shaved ice! Kona is being very generous by donating some of their proceeds from Wet Dog sales back to Mosaic Mentoring.  Point Mallard Water Park will be open at 10:00 and we will have passes for you to attend the park if you chose to do so.  We sure hope that you do!  The lazy river is amazing and the slides are pretty cool themselves! Decatur is awesome and we hope you enjoy your time with us!
